I've been checking out a ton of great music lately. So I want to share because music is not any good unless shared and enjoyed by mass quantities of music (except Nickleback, they suck regardless)
G. Love and Special Sauce (Cold Beverages)- G. Love is like listening to Rage Against the Machine except, they have the feel of The Beautiful Girls. So basically, its acousticish rap-rock. Awesome stuff. Favorite song, Cold Beverages. Its fun, upbeat and chill. They also a collaboration with Jack Johnson. That song is called Rodeo Clowns.
I Fight Dragons (The Geeks Will Inherit the Earth)- This single off the upcoming album KABOOM is amazing. Probably my second favorite from this band after the song Just Decide. I'll be writing a piece on them closer to the release of the album but this fast paced, techno rock song is must listen.
Blake Shelton (Honey Bee)- So, I've hated on country in the past, but as of late and many hours at work listening to it, country has grown on me. Especially this song. My goodness is it cheesy, but I love it nonetheless. I wish I had the lyrical talent and balls to pour my heart out like he does. He doesn't take himself to seriously. Check it out and show your sweetheart this song, they'll be sure to love it too.
Mutemath (Odd Soul)- Solid album by Mutemath. Listened to once and its what you'd expect, very chill, hypnotic vocals, and clean sounding. In my opinion, its a bit overproduced but that's just me being a music snob. Still, you need to give your ears this music, it'll make them feel better.
BONUS- Wobble by Family Force 5- This song is utter ridiculous. These guys used to be good but what happened!? Check this out for a good laugh.
